Candida albicans is a fungus that is responsible for yeast infections. They contribute cause several vaginal infections which are known as vaginitis which is a potential risk and very common with women. The bad thing is the infection can spread in the intestine that can cause very nasty symptoms to expose us to more illnesses and adverse autoimmune disorders.
We normally have candida in our system and I know with that being said, some people become worried and the next question would be for how long? Candida is always present in the body but always at the watch of the good bacteria found in our system. In this way, the candida is always in check and with a limited ability to cause any harm to the system.
Here is where the problems start
Due to some complications like high intake of sugar diets, some lifestyle conditions are known to weaken the immune system, and do you know antibiotics kill both bad and good bacteria in our system? With all these, the good bacteria become unable to maintain the balance of the candida which now goes powerful and outweighs the good bacteria and causes a condition known as candidiasis.
At this stage, the candida can be easily managed and get rid of by taking immediate action to keep the candida at bay. If we are not careful and sensible, then the infection will move to a yeast infection.
What you should do during the early stages.
Before you start taking necessary measures to keep the candida in check, first of all, you need to know or dictate when your system is experiencing some imbalances causing a weakened immune system. Some signs and symptoms will include sinus problems, headaches, fatigue, joint pain, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, depression, and even anxiety.
Once you start experiencing problems like this then it is important to start taking the necessary actions to boost the immune system.
Signs and symptoms of candida
- Oral Thrush usually with newborns, elderly, and individuals with weakened immune systems.
- Tiredness and fatigue.
- Recurring genital or urinary tract infections.
- Digestive issues.
- Sinus infections.
- Skin and Nail Fungal Infections.
- Joint pain (1).
Using oregano oil for candida albicans and other best practices
Lower the intake of carbs as they are known to be yeast agents. Sugar will only cause the candida to grow faster leading to more problems. During these early stages, it is important to watch what you eat as it will only be worse if you eat the wrong foods and fuel the candida.
You will have to avoid starchy veggies, grains, chlorinated water, wheat, caffeine, and alcohol. Processed foods are not to be eaten as will only increase toxins in the body providing safe harbors for bacteria in the body.
You should rather go for anti-fungal foods like garlic and also coconut oil. Garlic in the raw form will go a long way to fight the candida as the allicin (contains antimicrobial effects) found in garlic will still be intact as opposed to when the garlic is cooked.
At these early stages, you can take immunes booster supplements. If you have oregano capsules, you can start taking them to help kill the bad bacteria in the system. This will start repairing the intestinal tracks and avoid any leaky gut which can cause undigested proteins to make their way to the bloodstream and open doors to more complications.
Take advantage of the caprylic acid found in coconut oil as it contains antifungal properties. You can use coconut oil during this period as your main cooking oil. Probiotics will also go a long way to boost the immune system and fight candida
Also, it is important to avoid the use of pharmaceutical prescriptions and antibiotics. Numerous researches and studies have shown antibiotics are known to destroy the good bacteria in the human body. As if that is not enough, the majority of the times antibiotics are wrongly prescribed. An article published by the wall street journal supports this affirmation and the American Academy Of Pediatrics brings to light the inappropriate antibiotics prescription is increasing at an alarming rate.
